From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Jonathon Campbell is an epidemiologist and health economist, with expertise in economic evaluation and epidemiological study of infectious disease, particularly tuberculosis. His overall program of research is focused on generating evidence to inform the design, cost, and implementation of novel interventions and programs supporting tuberculosis prevention and its elimination. Jonathon's research has evaluated the cost-effectiveness of strategies to reduce the disproportionate tuberculosis burden among persons born outside Canada, treatment of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis, and the risks and benefits associated with different tuberculosis preventive treatment regimens. His work has informed World Health Organization and Canadian tuberculosis guidelines. Jonathon also works with the World Bank to develop and refine methods to evaluate public health emergency preparedness and response and identify necessary investments required to close existing gaps.
