Economics and the Earth’s Environment


Overview

If you choose to pursue a BA in Environment, you can complement your studies within the Economics and Earth’s Environment Domain. You’ll gain an understanding of how economics influence decision-makers' choices around resource extraction and waste management. 

This program offers an interdisciplinary education, uniting the worlds of economics and the earth sciences. You’ll be equipped to analyze and communicate environmental issues from the perspective of an earth scientist, while also bringing economic concerns into the conversation. With this specialized knowledge, you’ll be uniquely positioned to provide strong assessments of important environmental and societal issues.
