Research Interest

  • Carboxymethylation of cellulose to fabricate functional cellulose fibers by the wet spinning process.

  • Fabrication of functional textile from biomass for next-generation cellulosic materials.

  •  Fabrication of cellulose-based membranes for water purification.


Current Research Project

  • Chemical modification of cellulose.
  • Producing and curing textile filaments, and dying textile filaments by covalently linking dyes.
