The Vascular Surgery Residency Program at McGill University is accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Training is possible via one of two pathways:
Five (5) years of residency training in Vascular Surgery following successful completion of medical school. Application is via the CaRMS match. The number of training positions available at McGill for Pathway 1 will vary from year to year and will be indicated on the CaRMS website:
Two (2) years of residency training in Vascular Surgery following successful completion of RoyalCollege approved training in General Surgery, Cardiac Surgery or Thoracic Surgery. The number of training positions at McGill for Pathway 2 will vary from year to year and interested applicants should contact the Program Director directly to inquire about available positions.
