Currently a Professor in the Faculty of Medicine of McGill University I have been the Director of the Montreal Children’s Hospital Pediatric Palliative Care Program since 1995. My goal is to help bring back the oft-neglected role of the physician in promoting healing/whole person care, regardless of whether the outcome is a cure or not. I believe that one way to actualize whole person care is via mindfulness and from this flows my personal & professional interests.
