ONLINE: Homecoming: All-Class Law Alumni Virtual Reunion & Hockey Night at the Law Faculty

Thursday, September 30, 2021
5 PM to 7 PM EDT

The Summit Series, known at the time simply as the Canada-USSR Series, was an eight-game ice hockey series between the Soviet Union and Canada, held in September 1972. It started what remains today, almost 50 years later, the greatest rivalry in international hockey. The McGill Faculty of Law is pleased to welcome members of the 1972 Canada team and of the Hockey Hall of Fame alum Mr. Ken Dryden and Mr. Serge Savard for a live and dynamic conversation. These living legends will share their view of the 1972 Summit Series, Soviets vs. Canada, the game of hockey and beyond.

The Faculty of Law is excited to bring you a truly unique virtual event experience. Shindig is a web-based event platform offering unique technology to achieve the dynamics of an in-person event in a virtual environment. Audience members are able to network, discuss and socialize with one another in their own self-initiated private video chats just as they would naturally at in person events.

The reunion is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends, network with other Law alumni, and share your successes with your Faculty of Law. We extend a warm welcome to classes marking milestone reunions, as well as alumni from all other years.
