Code to Manuscript Bootcamp
From October 26-30, 2026, join CDSI, QLS-MiCM, D2R-HeDS Platform, and C3G for the Code to Manuscript Bootcamp, where participants will learn how to visualize biological/omics data and prepare a manuscript.
Get started with simple, customizable techniques for data visualization and writing in R, Python, Inkscape, and LaTeX.
Learning objectives:
Develop strong hands-on skills and technical knowledge for creating publication-ready plots using data visualization tools in R (ggplot2) and Python (Matplotlib/Seaborn)
Applying learned concepts on participant-provided data
Learn to create diagrams and combine them with plots with Inkscape to assemble complex multi-panel figures
Learn to compose scientific documents in LaTeX (via Overleaf) that correctly integrate high-resolution figures and mathematical notation
