Convergent Research Themes (CRT) Program
CDSI's Convergent Research Themes (CRT) Program aims to support researchers in exploring new collaborations and empowering multidisciplinary teams to work on converging research topics in which computational and data systems are central.
Exploratory Phase
For teams starting new collaborations and in the initial stages of exploring a convergent theme. Emphasis is on the exchange of knowledge and ideas necessary for determining future directions and their viability.
This stream is eligible for up to $10,000 in funding.
Proof of Concept
Aimed at well-formed teams building initial proof of concept around a well-defined convergent theme. Emphasis is on the implementation of a short program with a specific outcome, which will show viability for a full-scale convergent theme.
This stream is eligible for up to $20,000 in funding.
