Hub Policies

The Student Wellness Hub is a health and wellness clinic offering a variety of services and resources to support the well-being of students. We are one of many McGill Student Services available to students on-campus, and one of many health clinics available to students in Montreal. Our policies are governed by McGill University, but our clinical services are governed by provincial health mandates, as well as the professional orders of our professionals.

If you have any questions about the information below, please call the Hub at 514-398-6017 for more information.

Eligibility

All our services are free to full-time and part-time students either at the downtown or Macdonald campus who:

  1. Be physically located in the province of Quebec at the time of the appointment. This is due to restrictions imposed by various professional orders that license our clinicians to practice in certain jurisdictions.
  2. Consent to having an appointment.
  3. Have paid the Student Services fee and are covered by insurance

In addition to services offered at the Student Wellness Hub, learners in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences also have access to counselling services, support groups and workshops at the Faculty's Office of Medical Learner Affairs.

If you are not currently located in Quebec, please review McGill-supported telehealth options.

All individuals who would like to receive services at the Student Wellness Hub, will be asked to sign a consent form. See all our intake forms.

Fees

Please note that you may incur fees for late cancellations or missed appointments. These fees are set by the Quebec government for many of our service providers. If you are late for your appointment, this may be considered a late cancellation. There are also fees for filling out forms or administrative tasks.

Please review the latest fees: Provincial Fees (English) and Provincial Fees (French)

  • No-show/late cancellation for GPs, nurses, and counsellors: $25
  • No-show/late cancellation for psychiatrists: $70
