Course Overlap/Double Counting Policy

Students may apply for admission to and register in more than one Non-Credit Professional Development Certificate (PDC) program at a time.

Where program course requirements overlap, students may double count a maximum of 2 courses as follows:

2 "complementary" overlapping courses

OR

1 "required" and 1 "complementary" overlapping course

Courses cannot be counted more than twice

N.B. In those cases where two ‘required’ courses overlap, one of the overlapping courses will be exempted and a substitute course will be required for the other.
