With a Bachelor of Science degree from the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, you can be employed to do a variety of things:

Test, map and assess groundwater resources to protect and conserve them.

Anaylze the processes responsible for natural disasters and assist in preparedness.

Measure the impacts of past event on land and provide advice on where to build.

You can be employed in various domains:

Mineral exploration and environmental companies

Federal, provincial, and territorial governments

Environmental consulting companies

Universities, research agencies, museums

Upon completing your bachelor’s degree, you can also pursue a graduate degree.

This pathway allows students to specialize in a topic of their choice and engage in an individual research project under the supervision of a professor.
