Sheila S. Walker’s Afrodiaspora Global project aims to contribute to this “recognition” by serving as a platform for her field research, cultural and intellectual experiences, and insight into the global African diaspora and its links to its ancestral roots.  

Bio

Sheila S. Walker, PhD, is a cultural anthropologist and documentary filmmaker. She was a professor of anthropology and director of the Center for African and African American Studies at the University of Texas at Austin, as well as the African Diaspora and the World Program at Spelman College.
