Panel on Family Law Reform and Practice

Come hear Me Victoria Cohene (Lavery), Professor Robert Leckey, Me Régine Tremblay, and moderator Professor Helena Lamed discuss issues of Family Law reform.

The event will cover the topics of the Québec-commissioned report on family law following the Eric v Lola decision, more specifically its potential effects on surrogacy (Me Tremblay), and on marriage and de facto unions (Professor Leckey). Lastly, Me Cohene will discuss the newCode of Civil Procedure's effects on the practice of family law in Québec.
