Citizens of France

An agreement between the French and Quebec governments allows French citizens registered in a degree program to be exempted from the international tuition fee supplement.

Fee rates for French citizens according to program of study:

  1. Undergraduate students will be charged at the Canadian rate of tuition (students admitted as of the Fall 2024 term will continue to pay the Canadian rate of tuition which was in effect during the 2023-24 academic year, subject to annual indexation increases).
  2. Graduate degree students (including students in a Qualifying year) will be charged at the Quebec rate of tuition.
  3. Visiting and Special students, regardless of level of study, will be charged at the Canadian rate of tuition (students admitted as of the Fall 2024 term will continue to pay the Canadian rate of tuition which was in effect during the 2023-24 academic year, subject to annual indexation increases).

 

Documents required:

 

a) French citizens without Canadian legal status:

  1. Valid French passport
  2. Valid Study permit
  3. Valid CAQ

b) French citizens with Canadian legal status:

  1. Valid French passport
  2. Proof of Canadian status. Please refer to the instructions for Canadians.
