The Summer School for Electron Microscopy Techniques is a three-day event from June 5 to 7, 2023, in Montreal, QC, hosted by McGill University and the University of Toronto through the Facility for Electron Microscopy Research (FEMR). Over the three days, participants can attend keynote talks from leading researchers, presentations showcasing the latest research findings and workshops on techniques and methodologies in electron microscopy, including electron tomography, electron holography, volume electron microscopy, ultrafast electron microscopy, and data processing and simulation. The first two days will introduce the various electron microscopy techniques, and the third day will be an advanced workshop on the latest developments.

The school is suitable for new and experienced users and is structured to provide advanced skills in electron microscopy techniques.

In addition to the scientific program, there will be networking opportunities, providing attendees with the chance to connect with other academic researchers and industry professionals. Overall, the event brings together scientists, engineers, and researchers working in electron microscopy to exchange knowledge, share ideas, and advance the field.
