David Myles holds a PhD in communication from the Université de Montréal. He is a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Art History and Communication Studies at McGill University, as well as an Affiliate Professor in Sexology at the Université du Québec à Montréal. His postdoctoral research examines the social implications that digital media algorithms raise for Canada’s LGBTQ+ communities in terms of social justice and equality (under the supervision of Professor Carrie Rentschler).
