Hernan Baldassarre, Ph.D.

With more than 20 years of experience in private sector research, Hernan brings to the Animal Science Team a seasoned understanding of what Industrial partners expect from a University-Industry research collaboration.  Hernan’s role is to establish and manage strategic partnerships with private companies interested in conducting collaborative research in areas of mutual interest. He is currently involved with projects in the areas of assisted reproduction technologies in farm animals, transgenic animal biotechnology including animal models for the study of human diseases, prepubertal reproduction in ruminants, milk production and mammary gland physiology.

Ideas and proposals for partnership in other animal research areas are welcomed.
