Succeeding in your first year

We know the transition to university-level studies can be challenging, which is why you'll have the opportunity to participate in daily collaborative SciLearn study sessions with peers and instuctors and to learn neuroscience-based learning strategies to help you excel in your first-year courses.

Broaden your perspective

Spend a field semester in Barbados, East Africa, or Panama. Take a summer course in Greece or Italy. Can't go for a full semester? Shorter courses give you the opportunity to step outside of the classroom and undertake work in the field studying diverse subjects like paleontology, marine life, and ecology. Looking forward to developing new skills in the workplace? Earn money and gain valuable professional experience by participating in an internship.
