Sabrina Schaly joined the BBME program in September 2020 as a Master's student and later fast-tracked into the Doctoral program. Sabrina has been awarded with the 2022 Canadian Graduate Scholarship-Doctoral Award to help support her research in creating a new generation of gene eluting cardiovascular stents.
Jacqueline Boyajian joined the BBME program in September 2021 and is a second year PhD student after fast-tracking from the Master's program. Jacqueline has been awarded the 2023 Fonds de Recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS). She will use the award to further her research on new probiotic-based biotherapeutics for metabolic syndrome and other chronic diseases.
