Pollak Research Lab

Research is a key activity of the Stroll Family Cancer Prevention Centre of the Segal Cancer Centre of the Jewish General Hospital. The research activities are integrated with the Cancer Prevention Division of the McGill Department of Oncology and the Lady Davis Institute.

Over 1137 papers were published in the past two decades, many of which have been cited extensively by the global cancer research community. Both Drs William Foulkes (2013) and Michael Pollak (2012) are recipients of the prestigious O. Harold Warwick Prize by the Canadian Cancer Society; this prize is given to "A scientist whose research has had a major impact on cancer control". They are also Fellows of the Royal Society of Canada.
