The 2022-23 academic year marked the halfway point of the $2.5M Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Partnership Grant that formed CAnD3. We reflect on our successes and progress so far and look ahead to doing more to support capacity-building in data-driven decision-making.

The research products in this document showcase axes of collaboration between Fellows, CAnD3 staff, co-investigators and non-academic partners, as well as contributions to policy and aging research more generally.
This has been CAnD3's most engaging year yet. With the unwavering support of our partners, team members, and staff, we have welcomed a total of 52 Fellows since the start of the program. Additionally, we report on our first hybrid event and successes from our growing community of scholars, professionals, and researchers. All this represents a significant contribution to capacity building in supporting data-driven decision-making, our very core mission.

We are proud to share with you the first-year successes of our pilot program year. We have delivered a cutting-edge program predicated on the importance of robust data-driven decision-making and implementing best practices for online delivery. Above all, this annual report highlights the work that our partners, team members, Fellows, and staff have put in to design and implement a program full of hope and opportunities.
