Vous étudiez en informatique en bio-informatique et/ou en biologie ? Venez rencontrer Sebastian Ballesteros et lui poser toutes vos questions en français, sur la façon dont il a fait décoller sa carrière à Montréal!   

Sebastian Ballesteros est né dans une petite ville au Mexique. Il a décidé de déposer une demande d’admission à l’Université McGill après avoir fini ses études secondaires.  Il a été toujours passionné par la technologie, les mathématiques et les sciences. Lorsqu’il poursuivait un baccalauréat ès sciences en génie informatique à l'Université McGill, Sebastian s’est joint au Canadian Centre for Computational Genomics en tant que stagiaire en 2020. Après avoir obtenu son diplôme, il a rejoint l'équipe en tant que développeur de logiciels en travaillant sur des projets tels que EpiShare, Bento et FreezeMan. Il contribue au développement et à la mise en œuvre des solutions logicielles avec de multiples technologies.

Vous étudiez en droit ? Venez rencontrer Ying Liang et lui poser toutes vos questions en français, sur la façon dont elle a fait décoller sa carrière à Montréal!   

Ying Liang a obtenu un baccalauréat spécialisé en droit civil et en Common Law de l'Université McGill en 2020. Elle a réussi l'examen du Barreau du Québec en mai 2021 et suit actuellement son stage de 6 mois au sein du cabinet Kalman Samuels, un cabinet d'avocats de Montréal spécialisé dans le droit familial local et international et en litige civil. Avant de venir au Canada, Ying avait déjà une expérience de la pratique du droit à Guangzhou, en Chine. Avant ses études à McGill, elle a également obtenu une maîtrise en droit commercial international et un certificat de français langue seconde à l'Université de Montréal.

What is it like starting a career in psychotherapy and mental health services?

Noah Tile is a Psychotherapist in private practice in Ontario, specializing in ADHD and OCD, while serving the unique needs of the student population. He graduated with an MEd. In Counselling Psychology from OISE, University of Toronto. He also is the Co-Founder of Resolvve (www.resolvve.ca), a student mental health platform, for both therapy and education, whose practitioners incorporate psychotherapy with academic coaching and career counselling. Resolvve aims to get students the integrated support they need, related to mental health, academic success and personal growth.

He is also in Rabbinic studies, and is close to becoming a Rabbi, in order to better support his own community.
