Science in the Menu Conference: Cannabis Use -- Your Smoked-Brain -- Medium Rare of Well Done?

The West Island Integrated University Health and Social Centre is pleased to offer a SCIENCE IN THE MENU Conference entitled "Cannabis Use: Your Smoked-Brain, Medium Rare or Well Done?". The conference will take place on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. and will be offered in English, with exchanges and discussion in both English and French.

The SCIENCE IN THE MENU conferences, destined to all CIUSSS ODIM personnel, offer an opportunity for presentation and exchange with researchers form the Douglas Mental Health University Institute and St. Mary's Hospital Research Centres. The objective of these conferences is to inform employees regarding major health issues based on the most recent research result.

Cécilia Flores (Ph.D.) and Thomas Brown (Ph.D.), researchers at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute Research Centre, will present the effects of cannabis use on brain development, daily life and different types of use.
