Prof. Faraj named CTO 2022 Distinguished Scholar

Congratulations to Samer Faraj, Professor in Strategy and Organization, who has been named CTO 2022 Distinguished Scholar by the Communication, Digital Technology and Organization - CTO (A Division of the Academy of Management - AOM).

Professor Samer Faraj was named the 2022 Distinguished Scholar for the Communications Digital Technology and Organization (CTO) Division at the Academy of Management (AOM) Annual Meeting which took place August 5th to 9th in Seattle, Washington.

The Communications Digital Technology and Organization – CTO (formerly the Organizational Communication and Information Systems - OCIS) Division of the Academy of Management (AOM) focuses on the study of behavioral, economic, and social aspects of communication and information systems within and among organizations or institutions.

The Academy of Management (AOM) is the preeminent professional association for management and organization scholars. Its worldwide members are professors and Ph.D. students in business schools at universities, academics in related social science and other fields, and practitioners who value knowledge creation and application. Founded in 1936, the AOM global community today is nearly 19,000 strong and spans over 110 countries.
