McGill alumnus William Shatner (BCom’52) has been inducted into the Order of Canada, in recognition of his 60-year acting career and philanthropic work. Presented by Governor General Julie Payette, the Order of Canada is one of the nation’s highest civilian honours.
Longueuil police have proposed a new initiative called “John School”, which would educate individuals apprehended for soliciting prostitution as an alternative to criminal prosecution. In September, Canadian speed skater and two-time Olympic gold medalist Catriona La May Doan was appointed the CEO of Sport Calgary. To glide into her new role with confidence, La May Doan completed an Executive Development Course (Cycle 1) of McGill's Mini-MBA Series.
