The Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology's Dr. Victoria Talwar, Canada Research Chair, was recently featured in USA Today for her research on children's lie-telling. Dr. Talwar's research focuses on the development of children’s understanding of the concepts of truth and lies and their actual truth-telling and lie-telling behaviour.

Early this year Dr. Nancy Heath launched the website, Self-Injury and Outreach Support(SiOS), which was the first international online outreach initiative to provide help and information on self-injury. Dr. Heath's work has been highlighted in the 2011 Principal's Report. Congratulations!
