Bletchley Park – Home of Code Breakers (an illustrated lecture, repeated in a revised version following a recent visit)

Bletchley Park (BP) was the central site of UK’s Government Code and Cipher School, which regularly penetrated the secret communications of Axis Powers – by breaking messages sent by the German Enigma and Lorenz ciphers in WW II and was the birthplace of modern computing. The site has now been preserved as an educational project and a tribute to those that served.
