We will explore the themes of Cross-Border Cosmopolitans: The Making of a Pan-African North America by Wendell Nii Laryea Adjetey and James by Percival Everett as well as their relevancy to Black History Month.

Carola Weil, PhD, has served as Dean of Continuing Studies at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and Associate Professor (CAS) of Political Science since 2018. She previously served in various academic and non-profit leadership roles in the United States, advancing gender equity and inclusive societies, as well as international peace building mostly focused on sub-Saharan Africa and the Global South.
