Biography

Dr. Khattar Daou has over 25 years of experience in information technology. He has successfully managed a wide variety of projects for both national and international companies.

He is currently a lecturer and instructor with McGill University School of Continuing Studies, Concordia University (CCE), John Abbott College (CEC), and a RAC Specialist with Emploi-Quebec. His teaching career also included working with the Mohawk community of Kahnawake – Montreal.

In 2002, Dr. Daou established Datsco, a software development, training, and consulting company. It delivers computer technology courses, intensive training programs, and provides business consulting and technology integration services.

Prior to this position, Dr. Daou worked as the Chief Information Officer for EDI Gateway - MXS Commerce Group; Electrical Engineer, Project and IT Manager for Adastra Technology Inc.; and was a lecturer at Delta College, teaching in both French and English. He also served as Chief of Engineering and Head of Computer Department for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PECM) in Beirut, and Vice-President and General Director serving Future Lights Establishment for Telecom & Electronics.

Over the years he has developed various Windows programs, database management systems, and computer-based training programs and courses, as well as publishing a number of articles in electromagnetic theory.

Dr. Daou holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Technical Sciences and a Master’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He also holds the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) certifications.
