Ms. Karen Diaz M.Ed. (McGill University) is an experienced Adult Educator, facilitator and trainer. Karen has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Adult education, Diversity & Inclusion, leadership, and human resource management since 1999. She has extensive experience in the analysis, design, development and delivery of workshops and planning sessions for public, private and not-for-profit organizations. She specializes in training managers and staff in areas such as Strategic Planning, Managing Change, Leading Teams, Building a Team Culture, Coaching, Leadership and Development, Diversity in the Workplace, Training of Trainers, Decision Making, Conflict Management, and Career Planning.
Karen’s passionate is about helping groups engage in powerful dialogue that strengthens their individual and collective ability to succeed. Her educational background and experience make her particularly effective in helping groups navigate through sensitive issues where there are divergent points of view.
Since 1998, Karen has been the principal consultant of her own consulting practice in organizational learning and leadership development. As principal consultant of CKG Training & Consulting, Karen has undertaken projects across Canada and internationally in the Russian Federation, India, Central America, and the Caribbean. For these projects she has recently researched and designed a series of workshops with the intent of building organizational capacity and institutional strengthening in the areas of talent management, performance management, workforce diversity, change management, and training of trainers.
Previously she worked at McGill University from 1986 - 1997 in a variety of full-time positions.
