Dermatology Residency Training (R1-R5)

The McGill Dermatology Residency Training Program spans five years, encompassing program levels R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5.

This program is fully accredited by both the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and by the Collège des médecins du Québec

During the first year of training, residents will complete the required Internal Medicine rotations. During the second year, rotations will be through various selective fields related to dermatology before starting the core dermatology program which includes clinical rotations at the 4 teaching hospitals as well as other subspecialty rotations such as dermatopathology, medical subspecialty clinics and surgical subspecialty clinics.
