Ce programme vise le développement de l’esprit entrepreneurial pour repérer les occasions à l’échelle mondiale. Il offre une formation sur la méthode entrepreneuriale afin de concrétiser ces possibilités de changement. Le programme démocratise l’entrepreneuriat en exposant la communauté étudiante à ses diverses manifestations dans le monde, y compris les nouvelles entreprises, les entreprises sociales, les entreprises technologiques en démarrage, les coopératives, la participation-pari, les activités secondaires et les projets menés par passion.

Exigences d’admission

  • Vous devez consulter l’équipe-conseil de votre faculté ou de votre département avant de poser votre candidature pour vous assurer de respecter les exigences relatives au nombre maximal de crédits obtenus hors de votre faculté et pour confirmer votre admissibilité à la mineure.
  • Vous devez avoir obtenu au moins 24 crédits évalués à l’Université McGill avant de faire une demande.
  • Vous devez avoir une moyenne cumulative finale d’au moins 3,00 (le respect de ce critère ne garantit pas votre acceptation).
  • Le fait d’avoir suivi des cours de gestion au préalable n’aura aucune influence sur votre admission. Cependant, les crédits associés à ces cours pourraient être comptabilisés dans la mineure.
  • Vous ne pouvez pas poser votre candidature si vous suivez ou avez terminé une mineure en entrepreneuriat, en finance, en gestion, en marketing ou en gestion des opérations (pour les étudiants et étudiantes d’autres facultés).
  • Si vous suivez la spécialisation double en économie et finance ou en économie et comptabilité, vous n’êtes pas admissible aux mineures offertes par la Faculté de gestion Desautels.
  • Si vous entrez en troisième ou en dernière année: La mineure dure quatre sessions en raison des cours préalables. La priorité sera donnée aux étudiants et étudiantes en première ou deuxième année. Nous vous demanderons de fournir un plan d’études.

    Description

    The ability to select and manipulate genetic material has led to unprecedented interest in the industrial applications of procaryotic and eucaryotic cells. Beginning in the 1970s the introduction of and subsequent refinements to recombinant DNA technology and hybridoma technology transformed the horizons of the biopharmaceutical world. This course will highlight the important events that link basic research to clinical/commercial application of new drugs and chemicals.

    Description

    Full-time work-term intended to complement the student's undergraduate studies. Course work will be graded by a Faculty member with expertise relevant to the student's area of study. Finding a work placement is the responsibility of the student and facilitated by the Faculty's Internship Office.
    • Restrictions: Must have completed at least 42 credits and have at least 12 credits remaining. CGPA 3.20 or permission of Internship Office. Open to B.Sc. (Ag.Env.Sc.), B.Sc. (F. Sc.) and B.Eng. (Bioresource) students.

Business organization, overview of current organizations in these sectors, business partnership, as well as understanding the market structure, niche markets, and opportunities. New product development, customer values, raising start-up capital, and different business strategies are explored.
