EduGenAI Panel: Artificial Intelligence in Learning
Panel Overview: Students learn in formal and informal settings and ways. Generative AI will challenge our assumptions about the way learning happens and what it means to have learned something. This panel will explore the experiences of instructors and students from different disciplines and look to future directions for learning in the age of generative AI.
Questions explored:

In an era of generative AI, what is the impact on the knowledge and skills perceived students will need to learn as part of the higher education curriculum?

In an era of generative AI, what values and ethical contexts should we be considering in teaching, for ourselves and for our students?

What is changing for students in how and what they are learning? How will students prepare for assessments?
