Educational & Counselling Psychology (ECP)

The Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology (ECP) primarily offers graduate studies (Master's and Ph.D.) as well as professional development programs in the areas of Counselling Psychology, General Educational Psychology, Health Professions Education, Human Development, Inclusive Education, Learning Sciences, School/Applied Psychology. While doctoral programs are thesis-driven,  some ECP Master's programs may offer thesis, research project, or coursework-based options. Undergraduate students may opt to complete a minor in Educational and Counselling Psychology as well. Whether you are an undergraduate or graduate student, ECP's many course offerings and programs will help develop and enhance your knowledge and skills in human cognition and behaviour. 

Practical application research is an integral part of the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology. Research labs, teams, and activities span an array of research disciplines including children and youth, learning and education, and psychology and health.
