Dr. Gigi Luk Explores Learning Disruption During COVID-19
Dr. Gigi Luk of McGill Education's Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology has recently been involved in discussions with the National Academy of Education (NAEd) in the U.S. regarding educational inequities during COVID-19. The NAEd recently published a report exploring the effects of school disruption with regard to children's academic progress and social-emotional development as well as highlighting the more severe impact this disruption had on students in disadvantaged communities.
