Welcome to the main page of the McGill University Biosafety Program. Our purpose is to provide all the tools and resources necessary to provide a safe and healthy working environment for all McGill staff and students working with Biohazardous Materials in compliance with the Human Pathogens and Toxins Act (HPTA),and Regulations (HPTR), the Health of Animals Act (HAA) and Reguations (HAR), the Plant Protection Act (PPA) and Regulations (PPR) and all other relevant laws and standards. The Biosafety Program encompasses trainings, laboratory safety inspections, use of Biohazardous materials and much more!
