Individuals working in animal facilities have an occupational risk of developing animal allergies as well as other work related health issues. When participating in the Occupational Health Program (OHP) for their work with animals, participants initially complete a medical questionnaire with a nurse to assess any allergy risks. During the course of their work, participants are encouraged to report any related allergy issues, but may not always take this action. This questionnaire was developed as a pilot project with the Comparative Animal Resources Centre (CMARC) to encourage animal users to report any potential allergy or other work related health issues each year. The results of this questionnaire are confidential and will only be reviewed by the OHP Administrator and OHP Nurse.
