Building an Anti-Racist Culture with Dr. Beth Berila

This is the first event of the speaker series How to Do Anti-Racist and Decolonial Work in the Academy and Beyond.

This interactive workshop will explore how to practice anti-racism at the individual, collective, and structural levels in your department. We will discuss what is already working and generate best practices for anti-racism in our lives, pedagogies, departmental practices/policies, and communities.

Dr. Beth Berila is an Embodied Leadership Coach & Facilitator whose work focuses on embodying anti-oppression and working for justice. She is the Director of the Gender & Women’s Studies Program and a Full Professor in the Ethnic, Gender & Women’s Studies Department at St. Cloud State University.
