Chick Reid has played major roles for eleven seasons at the Stratford Festival of Canada (including serving as an Associate Artist to Richard Monette for two seasons) and six seasons at the Shaw Festival. She was a core acting member for four seasons at Theatre Plus Toronto. Recent engagements include the Toronto production of Dave Carley’s Canadian Rajah and the Shaw Festival for the 2019 season. She also teaches Shakespeare and theatre at Queen’s University. Recently she was honoured as the 2018 Life Member of the Canadian Actors’ Equity Association in recognition of her contribution to the performing arts in Canada.
