Olivia HEANEY

Olivia Heaney is a PhD Candidate and Course Lecturer in contemporary Canadian cinema and performance. Her dissertation uses approaches from ecocriticism and petroculture to explore the ways Canadian film and theatre have responded to cultural and economic precarity in the age of globalization. She has published in the Canadian Journal of Irish Studies and has worked extensively as a practitioner in the film and theatre industries.
