From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Biography: 

Keelan Harkin defended his dissertation, "Imagining Constitutions: Citizenship and Narrative Form in Ireland since Independence," in October 2018. He has been published in BREAC, the Canadian Journal of Irish Studies, and the Canadian Review of Comparative Literature. He has worked as a course lecturer at McGill University.

Current research: 

Irish literature and constitutionality; 1930s Ireland and political futures; the politics of reliability; Irish and British transnational literary cultures; feminist interventions in early-20th century Ireland.
