Book Launch - Mother Muse by Lorna Goodison

Join Véhicule Press, the Department of English and the Montreal International Poetry Prize for the launch of Mother Muse, a poetry collection by Lorna Goodison.

All are welcome to a reading by the distinguished Lorna Goodison, former poet laureate of Jamaica, winner of the Queen’s Gold Medal, and judge of the Montreal International Poetry Prize 2022. Professor Goodison will read from her latest collection, Mother Muse (Montreal: Signal Editions, 2022) at 4 PM on Friday 10 June 2022 at the McGill Faculty Club. The event will be in person (not online). Questions and discussion will follow the reading. Copies of Mother Muse will be for sale and the author will be on hand to sign copies. Come and meet a leading voice in Canadian and Caribbean letters, the poet who will select the winner of the Montreal Prize 2022.
