Biography:

Charlotte Esme Frank is writing her dissertation on obliquity and ekphrasis in contemporary female writing, under the supervision of Miranda Brun Hickman. She is interested in situating contemporary autofictional writers, such as Rachel Cusk and Maggie Nelson, within a broader female genealogy in order to understand how women tell, or avoid telling, unconventional personal stories. Charlotte holds a Bachelor’s degree in the humanities from Carleton University, and a Master’s degree in English and creative writing from Concordia University.

M.A. English and Creative Writing, Concordia University, 2022
