Areas of expertise:
Clinical research focused on evaluating determinants and outcomes of obstetrical conditions. Specifically, research is on cesarean delivery rates, prematurity, and rare diseases of pregnancy using predominantly large administrative databases and secondary analyses of prospective cohorts. The questions of interest that we study seek to address clinical problems faced by obstetrical care providers and/or maternal health issues that have public health implications.
