Joseph Cox
Dr. Cox obtained his MD from Dalhousie University, and an MSc (Epidemiology) and Public Health & Preventive Medicine specialty training, from McGill University. He is a consultant physician at the Chronic Viral Illness Service, Division of Infectious Diseases, McGill University Health Centre, and the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Sector, Regional Department of Public Health, CIUSSS-Centre-Sud-de-l ’Île-de-Montréal. His research program focuses on understanding the determinants of HIV, STIs and hepatitis C, and evaluating related prevention and care interventions, among vulnerable urban populations.
