General Information
We do not have any rooms blocked off for a preferred rate. Please contact hotels directly. We have provided links for the conference venue, and McGill University-affiliated hotels nearby. There are several bed and breakfasts in the area and other hotels. In our experience, Montreal is a relatively safe city and we expect that attendees will feel comfortable walking from any hotel within a 2 km radius (or even further) of the hotel venue. As in all major cities, it is advisable to be aware of your surroundings.
Conference Venue
New Residence Hall: 3625 Avenue du Parc, Montreal, QC, H2X 3P8
This was originally a hotel that was purchased by McGill and converted into a residence hall. Rooms are available for rent during the conference. The building is just steps away from the downtown business core, as well as from numerous art galleries, museums, the metro system (subway), Montreal's world-famous underground city with shopping centers, and fabulous entertainment and restaurants.
