Understanding the SIS data warehouse can be a complicated process. There is a lot of data. There are many views with many columns.
The following documents contain lists of the columns available in the specific views, comments explaining the columns, and examples of the data contained in the columns. They will give you an idea of what views are available in the data warehouse, and what columns you may need to use for your reports or queries.
We have cleaned up the information in these documents so that they will no longer contain the details of how the spreadsheet columns were derived from the base Banner tables. These documents are actively being upgraded to provide the most accurate reflection of the SIS data warehouse possible. Send any questions or comments to sisreport [at] mcgill.ca .
Please note that not all columns displayed in the documents will be seen in all views. The documentation contains all columns whereas the view that you see is filtered based on your security access level.
