Enhanced Skills Programs

PGY-3:
An optional third year may be available for individuals with particular interests in emergency medicine, maternal and child health, care of the elderly, sports medicine, palliative care, family medicine research "Clinician Scholar Program."

For Family Medicine applicants who are currently doing residency training in Quebec and are applying to the Clinician Scholar Program, you need to fill out Section I, Section II, Section III, Section VI & Section VII of the form. The form can be found here

IMPORTANT: Unfortunately, if you are a McGill Family resident you are NOT able to apply for the Hospital Medicine program. This year, the program is only open to physicians returning from practice who have been practicing in Quebec for at least 12 months or a candidate from outside Quebec.

Applications for the the Enhanced Skills programs of Emergency Medicine, Palliative Care, Care of the Elderly, and Sports and Exercise Medicine are processed through CaRMs. The online portal opened August 7 and will close September 16, 2020 at noon (Eastern Time). For more information, click here.
