MUHC: Montreal General Hospital

The Montreal General Hospital is a 533 bed tertiary care hospital with a provincially designated trauma center. It is one of the hospitals of the newly amalgamated McGill University Health Center.

The Division of Geriatric Medicine has a 22 bed ward which primarily offers rehabilitation services to patients who are already in the hospital as well as patients in the emergency room. Consultation services are provided to the hospital for in-patients with a variety of Geriatric issues on other wards. In addition, there exists a general Geriatrics Clinic as well as a specialty Urinary Incontinence Clinic. Home visits are made on a regular basis. The Division is also responsible for a transition care service.

Research on Urinary Incontinence and Women's Health is carried out at the Montreal General Hospital.
