Graduate Student Internships

Master's students - Engineering and Computer Science

Eligible full-time students may begin an internship after the completion of their first semester. Ranging from four to eight months and either on a full-time or part-time basis (15-29 hours/week), engineering and computer science students gain experience and develop new skills during their studies in a particular field outside of academia. The internship is a temporary paid placement in an organization that may be part of an educational program.

Doctoral Internship Program (DIP)

Eligible doctoral students nearing the end of their degree may take an opportunity to learn and grow outside of academia through a paid internship. Ranging from one to three months, doctoral students further develop the skills they have gained in academic and research training. Additionally, pursuing an internship allows doctoral students to gain new professional expertise that will help them through their transition from academia to their chosen career.
